My Dearest Readers,
As you all know, this is February 14, more popularly known as Valentine's Day:
The day that inspires desperate humans to buy each other's love with banal greeting cards and stale chocolate. This, however, is a special Valentine's Day.
It is with great pleasure that I present you with the first images of the late, great Cupid, who was captured by our own General "White Eyes" Wallis in December of 2004. Following a fierce gun battle with The Army of the Living Dead, General Wallis ambushed him and personally ripped Cupid's wings from his body. He then kindly shipped him, in shackles, to my office, where we kept him alive and imprisoned until the stroke of midnight last night. I am happy to report that Cupid was pronounced permanently dead on February 14, 2005, at 12:01 AM, Eastern Standard Time. He was delicious -- but a tad greasy -- as expected.
After our feast, we placed his evil head on a pretty, pink doily I'd saved in anticipation of this glorious occasion. His head and his wings, which were professionally mounted, now proudly hang in the lobby of The League of the Living Dead world headquarters.
I want to share these beautiful, historic artifacts with all my readers. Of course, the actual size of these objects is much larger, but you'll get the idea. Please enjoy, and Happy Valentine's Day to all!
