Traveling With The Dead

Dear Ghoulfriend,

I just met this woman, Janice Starling, at a mutual acquaintance's party and during the course of our conversation the subject of vacation spots popped up. Ms. Starling tells me that when she goes on business trips to Europe in support of her various cosmetic lines there is a little ski resort in Switzerland she likes to visit. I believe she said it was located around the Trollenberg mountain and that I should keep an eye out for it. Apparently people who visit the resort are just losing their heads over it. I'm guessing that means there is a good buzz about the place. Is this resort "League" approved? I'd like to get a stamp of approval instead of just taking off in a fog.
Crawling with anticipation,

Dear AW,
I am intimately acquainted with Trollenberg! I was strangely compelled to get off the train at that very location last winter while on a culinary tour of Europe. The village is quaint and the townsfolk are gracious, hospitable and delicious (Swiss meat is very well marbled -- you should try it). I had looked into opening a League chapter there, but there's no point in it; few in the village are ever capable of reanimation due to a proliferation of headless corpses; those revenants who do inhabit the area are transplants from other locales.

Competition for "the food" is also pretty fierce there. Seems there's some sort of alien entity atop the mountain who feeds on human heads. Granted, it leaves the bodies for us, but what good is a place if brains have to be imported?

As a vacation spot, it's a perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I wouldn't hesitate to visit Trollenberg again, but I'd never consider living there.
Love,
Ghoulfriend
