Were-Critters

Dear Ghoulfriend,
I am a lycanthrope and was curious: what would happen if I were to bitten by a vampire or zombie?
-Midwestern Werewolf

Dear Wolfie,
You must not have read the History of the Talking Were-Asses." That's too bad; you missed a great story. In it, I explained that werewolves who are bitten by vampires enjoy the immortality of a vampire, and the lure of messy killing sprees by the light of the full moon. The only drawback is that half-vampires are extremely sensitive to sunlight. The good news is that because you're completely covered with fur much of the time, your skin will be protected. I'd still wear dark glasses if I were you, particularly if your eyes are blue. You wouldn't want to develop cataracts down the road; they could hamper your ability to hunt.

If a werewolf is bitten by a zombie (an extremely unlikely scenario, by the way - all that hair is such a nuisance), the werewolf will become a zombie himself. Instead of experiencing that delicious bloodlust only during the full moon, the creature will now succumb to it on a daily basis. It's a step up in my opinion. An added bonus is that were-zombies can only be killed by a head-shot - with a silver bullet. It's really the "beast" of both worlds. Either way, vampire or zombie, once immortal, one is able to enjoy full membership in The League of the Living Dead and THAT is worth dying for. Thanks for writing!
Love,
Ghoulfriend
